Founded by composers/producers Woody Ranere and Christian Celaya, With Lions Productions is a boutique music production house and artist collective specializing in custom composition, music licensing, sound design, music supervision, 5.1 stereo mixing, audio sweetening, production and mastering. With decades of experience translating the creative ideas of ad agency producers, directors and music supervisors, can handle any request a client in the advertising, film, TV, web and video game industries may have.

After graduating from SUNY Purchase's Studio Composition program in the Conservatory of Music, Christian spent the next 12 years in a number of touring bands, including Unspun (Universal Records), Joshua (Doghouse Records) and Benzos (Stinky Records). For the last seven years, he has been composing and producing music for television, film and web, with placements ranging from national campaigns for everything from cars to candy, pivotal scenes in some of today's most popular network/cable TV shows, to soundtracks for the top fashion labels' behind-the-scenes videos.
Partner/Executive Producer/Composer/Sound Designer
Woody Ranere’s career in music is the result of years of collaboration in and out of the studio as a writer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and touring musician/vocalist for his bands, Lake Trout, With Lions and Mt. Royal. After receiving a degree in Composition and Computer Music from Goucher College, he has divided his time between the studio and the stage. For the last 10 years, Woody has worked as a producer, composer and sound designer for television and award-winning independent films. His work has aired on almost every major network and cable channel. He has produced hundreds of songs from various composers and bands that have aired on countless networks and have been featured in many ad campaigns.
Just as Dusty Springfield famously sang, Josh Thomas is the son of a preacher man and cut his teeth in a Baltimore church playing piano, organ and drums at just 5 years old, with an early affinity for gospel, classical, jazz, soul, funk and rock n’ roll. After graduating from Baltimore’s School for the Arts, he spent the next handful of years producing and composing for a variety of local artists. In 2013, he began working for Steve Wright as an assistant engineer at WrightWay Studios. Two years later, and Josh is now one of the studio’s chief engineers and has emerged as one of Baltimore’s top up-and-coming composer-producers. His multi-instrumentalist chops and ability to compose in every genre, not to mention an incredibly versatile voice, has made him a valuable addition to any project.
Sound Designer/Mixing & Mastering Engineer
Victor has been integral to the Baltimore/Washington television, multimedia and film recording industry since 1991. From 1991–2003, he was a senior engineer/producer at Clean Cuts Music and worked on hundreds of national television and radio ads, as well as sound designed/mixed several films. From 2003–2006, he was a staff composer for Bunim-Murray Productions in Los Angeles, writing for NBC, FOX and MTV. For the last 10 years, he has freelanced as an audio mixer at the Discovery Communications headquarters in Silver Spring, MD.; working on many of the most popular shows for all of their networks, as well as shows for ESPN, promos for Mid Atlantic Sports Network and sound design for the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
Producer/Mixing & Mastering Engineer
Throughout his 24 years of working in production, Steve Wright has worn many hats. His experience runs the gamut from engineering and producing well-known artists, film mixing and production, electrical engineering, to traveling the world as a live sound engineer. Since 1997, he has owned and operated WrightWay Studios in Baltimore: a four-room facility that specializes in the nurturing of artists and producers, along with being the headquarters of With Lions Productions. Steve is a true student of music history and production. This has enabled him to become a respected producer of a diverse range of music, thus making him an invaluable asset to any project he takes on.
After graduating from the photography program at School of Visual Arts in NYC, Stephanie has spent the last decade working as both a photography agent and producer, immersing herself in the fashion and advertising industries. Her attention to detail, tastemaking and overall "eye" for photo and motion projects, as well as client-interfacing acumen, makes her the perfect bridge between art and commerce.
After graduating from the film program at Temple University, Bryan relocated to San Francisco where he worked as a writer, film maker, artist and creative consultant. Also, as a barman, he created spirit programs and was a leader in San Francisco’s cocktail revolution. Over the last decade he has worked as a film and music programmer and cultural director, cultivating strong relationships with a great many artists in the recording and movie industries, as well as in tech, fashion and hospitality. Bryan’s voracious appetite for the best artistic work and understanding of the cultural landscape, positions him as a trusted advisor on any project.
